One of the most impactful things a home brewer can do is to get control over the temperature that they are fermenting their beer at. This will make a huge improvement on the quality of the beer that they are producing at home. Less stress on the yeast, less off flavours, and the ability to ferment at the right temperatures for specific yeast strains, and the ability to cold crash beer to help clear it.
