Making beer at home with rice | Indigenous recipe and home brewing

Rice beer might be something unheard of to some but in one of the villages in India’s Jharkhand, it is not only made but sold as well. The recipe of rice beer isn’t complicated, after you’ve boiled and cool down the rice a special ingredient is added into it. That special ingredient has some secret herbs along with rice. After that the rice needs to be kept for three days. A bamboo strainer helps you extract the pure version of rice beer. They have a special cup made of leaf as well.
